All booking is done online for your convenience and mine. <\/span><\/p>\n The “book now” will take you to my services list and calendar, where you can view my availability and choose a slot that suits you.<\/span><\/p>\n [\/et_pb_accordion_item][et_pb_accordion_item title=”Do I need to book an appointment or can I just walk straight in?” _builder_version=”4.25.2″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}” open=”off”]<\/p>\n Pre-booking is essential. <\/span>There is only ever one client in the salon at a time and all appointments are pre-booked, with time left between for privacy.<\/p>\n Please don’t arrive early for your appointment because you’ll likely have to wait outside – not ideal in this british weather!<\/p>\n <\/p>\n [\/et_pb_accordion_item][et_pb_accordion_item title=”Do you work weekends?” _builder_version=”4.25.2″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}” open=”off”]<\/p>\n I don’t work weekends as I’m open until 8pm on weekdays.\u00a0<\/p>\n However, I can be flexible in the week, and if you desperately need an appointment earlier or later than my advertised hours or on a different day, get in touch and I’ll try my best to fit you in.<\/p>\n [\/et_pb_accordion_item][et_pb_accordion_item title=”Is there parking?” _builder_version=”4.25.2″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}” open=”off”]<\/p>\n Yes! It’s zone 15 so there’s free parking for up up to 2 hours on my street and surrounding streets.<\/span><\/p>\n [\/et_pb_accordion_item][et_pb_accordion_item title=”Is there anything I should do to prepare for my wax?” _builder_version=”4.25.2″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}” open=”off”]<\/p>\n A lot of waxing success depends on how you look after your skin before and after a wax, and in between waxes too.<\/p>\n Drink plenty of water; it really does help.<\/p>\n You can take ibuprofen 20 minutes before your appointment if you’re concerned about pain.<\/span><\/p>\n I’d advise you to wear loose comfortable clothing, like cotton boxers if you’re having an intimate wax, looser fitting trousers\/joggers for a leg wax, etc, and if you like you can bring a clean t-shirt to pop on after a back wax.<\/span><\/p>\n Apart from that, just arrive clean and fresh, I have wipes so you can freshen up if needed.<\/span><\/p>\n A full list of pre and post skin care information will be emailed to you upon booking, give it a read as it has some important information.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n [\/et_pb_accordion_item][et_pb_accordion_item title=”And what should I do after my wax?” _builder_version=”4.25.2″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}” open=”off”]<\/p>\n For the next 24-48 hours or so your empty hair follicles are still open, and you don\u2019t want bacteria to get into them.<\/p>\n Try to avoid excessive sweating, sun exposure, deodorant or suncream, hot baths or saunas.<\/p>\n Shower with cool-lukewarm water only.<\/p>\n Avoid sex that day after an intimate wax.<\/p>\n Wear clean, loose-fitting clothes.<\/p>\n [\/et_pb_accordion_item][et_pb_accordion_item title=”Should I trim or shave?” _builder_version=”4.25.2″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}” open=”off”]<\/p>\n Trimming your hair can make the waxing experience more comfortable and can help prevent hair from breaking.<\/p>\n You can trim hair that is more than 1\/2 an inch long.<\/p>\n Your hair should be at least 1\/4 inch in length (which makes it long enough to lay flat on your skin). That’s no lower than a number 3 on clippers.<\/span><\/p>\n Please don’t shave for at least 3 and preferably 4 weeks prior to your appointment to ensure that your hair is long enough.<\/span><\/p>\n If you don’t have clippers that’s ok I can trim it for you at the salon.<\/span><\/p>\n [\/et_pb_accordion_item][et_pb_accordion_item title=”Will I remove my underwear?” _builder_version=”4.25.2″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}” open=”off”]<\/p>\n If you\u2019re having an intimate wax, then yep, pants off!<\/p>\n [\/et_pb_accordion_item][et_pb_accordion_item title=”What if I get an erection?” _builder_version=”4.25.2″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}” open=”off”]<\/p>\n It happens sometimes, don\u2019t worry! It\u2019s purely a mechanical reaction.
